Confusing

"...Rosaura (an anagram for 'dawns')..."?

Under the heading "In literature", the second sentence of the third paragraph includes this claim: "...Calderón has a character named Rosaura (an anagram for 'dawns')..." This is nonsensical. "Rosaura" is not anagrammatic for "dawns"; they only share "s" and "a". Can anyone explain? Bricology (talk) 20:43, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

@Bricology The Latin word for dawn is Aurora. Therefore Dawns (Auroras) is an anagram of Rosaura. Wikifan153 (talk) 19:50, 6 September 2024 (UTC)

But "A-U-R-O-R-A" is not anagrammatic for "R-O-S-A-U-R-A"; there is no "s" in "aurora". And before you suggest that it's the plural form: plural for "aurora" isn't "auroras", it's "aurorae".

But not in Spanish! Spanish customarily forms the plurals of feminine nouns (even ones derived from Latin) by the addition of -s.
