When is it used?

[edit]

In what situations is this formula used? Biscuittin (talk) 21:05, 21 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Assumed mean"?

[edit]

Talk:Mean#"Assumed mean"? has a discussion about this topic. Basically I think this article has started off on the wrong track. Dmcq (talk) 13:03, 22 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

I think assumed mean is notable enough but the article shouldn't be called 'assumed mean formula'. It is the assumed mean method if anything. I'll try writing a bit on it and then rename the page to 'Assumed mean' and leave this as a redirect. Dmcq (talk) 14:43, 31 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
