I am the editor of the website www.kefalonia-travel-guide.com which is why I have taken a paragraph from the Assos page to start a new article on Assos. If this is not acceptable I will start from scratch.

To use material from your website you need to follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials, since we have to confirm it really is you. Otherwise yes you will have to start from scratch. Hut 8.5 20:18, 14 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Asos or Assos?

[edit]

In my view this article should move to Assos, as you can see Google maps, Tripadvisor and anyone else writes the word with double s. Citing an outdated Greek government document does not resolve the issue. The same holds for the Greek spelling. Also see this article in the Greek wikipedia where the spelling Ασσος is accepted.
