"in southern Arabia"

[edit]

@Cergun62 may I know why you do not want "in southern Arabia" in the lead section? 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 10:31, 9 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

As stated before when I reverted your edits, I have legitimate reasons to believe that you have political motives behind trying to link Saudi Provinces to Yemen, in the introduction of the article of all places. These reasons essentially boil down to the following:
1- you have South Arabia linked in the introduction of your User Page, which indicates a clear bias to link the article in Saudi Provinces’ articles. This leads me to believe that the motive behind the edit is less informative than political.
2- Non of the Governorates of Yemen articles have South Arabia in their introduction. I think it’s reasonable to believe that you’re more focused on dragging Saudi Provinces to this term than you are Yemeni ones.
I proposed a compromise, however. You can go ahead and link your article to the Geography section of the Saudi provinces if you insist, for whatever reason. Cergun62 (talk) 04:16, 10 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

what...? South Arabia isn't only in Yemen.. I said in my talk page that I enjoy editing stuff related to south arabia. How does this translate to me having a motive behind my edits? That's like saying just because I have Islam linked on my infobox then I'm doing jihad on Wikipedia articles to make Islam-related articles better than Christian ones or whatever.

All Governorates of Yemen articles need lots of work, and I think it should be mentioned in those articles, too. I've done lots of work on this article already (1 in authorship) so you telling me where should I edit is disrespectful. 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 08:36, 10 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
