Image issue?

[edit]

The Wikimedia Commons data for the image in the infobox says that the author is Andres Rueda, including a link to her flickr profile. On it she says "Absolutely NONE of my work is to be added to wikipedia or displayed on wikipedia or any other wikipedia related website."

I'd remove the image if I knew how, but should it be removed & can someone do it for me? Figured out how to delete the image, still, should it have been deleted? I'm new to editing Wikipedia so sorry if this has an obvious answer.2603:6080:3804:7C8D:FDD1:B64C:74C9:E9A1 (talk) 04:18, 16 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

This should be an article about Ashurnasirpal II. It is instead mostly an article about the Nimrud reliefs. Obviously, he presided over the regime that built these reliefs and he is depicted in them, so that makes a level of sense, but the discussion of them should be focussed on what these structures mean in relation to him. The current presentation, which tells us a great deal about who excavated them and their modern histories, is inappropriate. A potential model for what the page's treatment of this material ought to look like, mutatis mutandis, might be Augustus#Building_projects. I propose a very large scale culling and refocussing of this material, but since this is a drastic change to the page, I wanted to raise the issue here before acting.
