Infobox removal

[edit]

As per WP:MOS (Wikipedia:Manual of Style (infoboxes)): “The most important group to consider are the casual readers of Wikipedia, who will never do any significant editing. Infobox templates that contain many blank fields, question marks and unknowns present an unprofessional appearance, diminishing Wikipedia’s reputation as a high-quality encyclopedia.” Quis separabit? 21:48, 3 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Reported death

[edit]

In doing some background research for this article, I found user-contributed (hence not reliable) content at Ancestry.com, which states that Arthur Hamilton Stern - the son of Jack Stern, born 1926 in Washington State, living in Hollywood by 1935 - died in Los Angeles in 2010. No further details are provided. If this is our man, I have found no other confirmation (or otherwise) of his death, and this report updated in December 2010 describes him as still living and composing in Beverly Hills. Can anyone provide any more reliable information? Ghmyrtle (talk) 09:18, 14 January 2016 (UTC)Reply

Updating myself... as of March 2020, Hamilton is still listed as a Board Member of ASCAP here. Ghmyrtle (talk) 20:17, 7 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
