I am guessing that he is actually best known as Bud socially, but that secondary sources address him more formally, and that at the time of the bold move User:Anthonyhcole didn't recognise the significance of this. The references above to academic papers and what his university calls him seem to be primary sources and not of much relevance. Andrewa (talk) 16:07, 7 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
