Merger proposal (Armoured corps + Tank Corps) 2015

I propose that this article Armored corps, currently a disambiguation page, receive merger of article Tank corps, also a disambiguation page. I believe that the term Tank corps may be a little narrower in intention, while an armored corps is a little broader, but their usage is not strictly different. I believe it may be a bit random whether a nation's military uses one term vs. the other, so I think they should all be listed and discussed together. Plus also "Mechanised corps" ought to be covered, I think, though the article Mechanised corps (Soviet Union) should remain split out.

Further, I think the main article should be a regular article, not a disambiguation page, per wp:DABCONCEPT. And I am tagging it for that and/or editing it to change it that way (separately from this merger discussion). Either way, "tank corps" should be merged in, I believe. --doncram 15:08, 2 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Seeing no discussion, I am implementing the merger, and the change from disambiguation to regular article. --doncram 03:51, 5 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
