Strength of claim dubious?

This article comes right out of the gate claiming that arm folding preference (left-over-right vs. right-over-left) is a binary "phenotype." What exactly is meant by this is unclear, especially considering that the article goes on to state there is no genetic or hereditary basis for the trait. In addition, modern research on this subject takes into account that lateral preferences like this have varying strengths ranging from strong preference to complete ambivalence (e.g. ). All the cited works in this article are from more than 40 years ago and are not accessible in complete form even from a major research university's library.

Should this article be removed or completely rewritten? Maybe merged as a minor note in the article on laterality?

Problem with second section

The first paragraph in "Factors and History" needs cleaning up, it's a complete mess and comes across as the author's personal opinion, involving a contradiction of common beliefs regarding inheritance. Arm folding is generally considered not to be hereditary, so I don't know where the paragraph is coming from.

I agree with Henrybrinkerhoff - this article most likely needs to be completely rewritten.
