While having no external distinguishing features, these slugs have differences in their internal genitalia which can be distinguished when dissected. As well, they are becoming an increasingly common invasive species in parts of North America, and it may be useful to mention their impact there.MSlook (talk) 23:10, 3 October 2016 (UTC)
Merge proposal
[edit]I think Arion subfuscus should be merged into Arion fuscus, they are part of the same species complex and often treated semi-interchangeably in science papers I've seen. The differences are small enough they can be noted in a small section rather than requiring seperate pages. This page even uses a subfuscus as page image. I think the subfuscus page is redundant because of this. Virginia Heart (talk) 19:46, 25 February 2026 (UTC)
