In March 2016 York Entrepreneurship Development Institute (YEDI) from Canada partnered with Ariel University to share its methodology with students through an intensive two-week business acceleration program that launched on August 7.

Please replace the existing outdated campus photos (many of which were taken 12–15 years ago and no longer accurately represent Ariel University) with updated images that better reflect the campus as it looks today.

Proposed new images and captions:

Thanks for the quick feedback and for offering to add the images. I’ve rewritten each caption to focus strictly on what the viewer sees, trimming out the marketing tone. My apologies for the earlier wording—old PR habits die hard!

Immediately BEFORE the “Visiting lecturers” section, add a new subsection titled “School of Medicine and University Clinics” with:

In August 2018, Ariel University inaugurated the Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson School of Medicine. Israel’s Council for Higher Education approved the establishment of the school in April 2019, and the inaugural class of 70 students began studies in October 2019. The Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson School of Medicine is Israel’s sixth medical school and the first in the region; its first graduating class received M.D. degrees in 2024. The school also offers an English-taught International Medical Science (B.Sc.) pre-medical program, open to Israeli and international students.”

Ariel University operates on-campus University Clinics that provide services to the public and serve as training sites for health-profession students. The University Clinics also include a Child Development Unit and additional services such as audiology, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy and physiotherapy.”

Dear friends, I would like to draw your attention to, and suggest (partial) solutions for, several issues that I have identified in the article, mostly related to updates:

- Section on "students and faculty":

All the references in this section date from more than a decade ago, yet it starts with "Current enrollment...".

I would like to ask that a template be added to this section to state that it is likely outdated and needs to be updated. Alternatively, its substance can be updated with new references and (if necessary) brought up to date wrt the facts. Another option is to partially rewrite the section in an "as of" section and forego verification. (assuming it was accurate when those sources were added)

The same as for the other section I mentioned, sources are quite dated in this section and require updates. This is not as much of an issue for the paragraphs that start with a date, but for the first, second and penultimate paragraphs it is a serious problem in my opinion:

The first paragraph (about IAU membership) deals with membership in an international organisation. While this can be verified with the archived source, it would appear the claim is no longer true (as of 2025, checking the current IAU page. This might be as a result of Israel withdrawing from UNESCO, but I do not know these details)

The sources used in the second paragraph are also extremely dated, and last one is even dead, so would fail verification.

The penultimate paragraph is also one that can be very outdated. The main claim is about students moving to Israel after their studies, but this percentage is probably no longer accurate as of today.

My suggestion for this section is partly the same as for the other one: to add an update template, or to add "as of" to the affected paragraphs. (I also think a template warning about it possibly being outdated or unverifiable would probably still be useful.)

However, the issue with the first paragraph is more problematic: Membership in the IAU is also mentioned elsewhere in the article: in the infobox, under "Affiliations". This is more problematic, as this is likely the first place people look... and now it is inaccurate. (again: according to the current [|IAU website])

This requires more work. Or it should simply be removed.

Description of suggested change: I will try to sum up my argument as compact as I can: “Region” as used in the recent edit, about the school of medicine, is vague and frankly, problematically so to a degree it would appear to create falsehoods. This was an attempted remedy of the word “Judea” or “Samaria” (I don’t recall, and for this it doesn’t matter) (IE: the occupied territories as Israel refers to them) The problem is: it doesn’t actually refer to the geographical region(s). It refers to the administrative region(, I think).

So where it may say that this region serves “residents of the region and beyond“ this is totally untrue. It doesn’t. It serves only Israeli citizens and those living in Israeli settlements.

And where it says this is the “first in the region” this is also not true. An-Naja’s medical faculty has existed at least two decades and is less than 14m from this one. It is true that it is the first one in the Israeli settlements.

My solution is to change the word region to Israeli settlements Diff:

Frankly, I don’t think the section is notable enough to be included at all, and only serves as an advertisement of the Adelsons’ vanity project. …but if it must be there, it should at least be accurate. (And properly sourced, which I still don’t think it really is, honestly, because the sources rely heavily on the university’s own website.)
