Copyvio

@Vanderwaalforces: About the copyvio tempate you added on this article, I wrote almost all of it myself. Much of the Egypt section is copied from Arab conquest of Egypt, but some of the sections I copied from there were written by me too. It's only the last paragraph of the Egypt section that wasn't by me.

Now, as you can see here, that passage was already there in February 2022. But the blog that's referenced in the copyvio template is dated March 8 2022. It's clear that whoever wrote that blogpost copied from Wikipedia, not the other way around. 💖平沢唯を愛しています💖 (talk|contribs) 11:02, 9 May 2025 (UTC)

@ILoveHirasawaYui Ahah, it's good you pointed out that you copied from another article, you should have mentioned that in an edit summary to avoid situations like this. This article was created in April and the date on that blog is March, so for someone like me who cannot tell and do not know the content already existed, an edit summary as specified at WP:RIA would have done the trick of alerting me.
