The article mentions the bishopric started to collapse after the Ottoman takeover. So, was the title of Archbishop of Bar and Primate of Serbia effectively just ceremonial/pretentious/titular after this point in time? Were those people resident or not? --Joy (talk) 12:32, 25 March 2026 (UTC)Reply
At Vicko Zmajević I found a historian saying that archbishop moved out of Bar because of safety in 1706. So I guess it was a mixed bag that has to be covered on a case-by-case basis. --Joy (talk) 13:01, 25 March 2026 (UTC)Reply

Remove the disgusting garbage propaganda of it being founded by a Serbian "King" in 1199 (Serbia wasn't even a kingdom until 1217). The Archdiocese of Bar is a century older than that and its foundation has nothing to do with the Nemanjić dynasty. Plus, the Nemanjićs starting with Nemanja himself were Eastern Orthodox and referred to Catholicism as "latin heresy"... Ridiculous embarrassing idiocy you'll find on Wikipedia... ~2026-39912-33 (talk) 21:24, 28 July 2026 (UTC)Reply
