Welcome to Wikipedia and thank you for your contributions to this article. I am writing in regard to edits 1316623611, 1321441982, 1321443383 and 1321764165. I have concerns about the quality of these edits.
Firstly, it is not necessary to write acronyms in full when links included earlier in the article provide readers with the full terminology. For example, the text 'Geographic Information System (GIS) data' can simply be written as 'GIS data' given there is a link to the Geographic information system article in the introduction. This is the same for 'ESRI (Environmental Research Systems Research Institute, Inc.)' given there is a link to Esri in the introduction. These acronyms have already been defined for the reader and there is no need to redefine them in the article body. Also note 'QGIS (Quest Geographic Information Systems)' - this is incorrect; QGIS was, as specified in the QGIS article, initially an acronym for Quantum GIS but this name is no longer used. There should also be a link to the QGIS article at this point as it has not been mentioned previously. A company called Quest GIS (https://questgis.co.in/) does exist but I do not believe this is what you are referring to.
The first section added in these edits, ArcGIS Pro#Why ArcGIS Pro?, has some inconsistencies with the Manual of Style. Specifically, MOS:YOU advises against using second-person pronouns (i.e. you) in articles, however this is present in multiple locations in this section.
I do wish to note, more generally, about the use of artificially generated text in Wikipedia. As per WP:AI, adding text generated by these tools to Wikipedia is not banned, although it is contentious. I would suggest in particular to new editors that it should be avoided, but what is certain is that any text, no matter how it was created, should be checked for accuracy and style by the editor adding it before it is published. Adding references systematically at the end of each paragraph without proper incorporation into the text, as has been done here, is not the correct way to reference content.
I have reverted these edits for now as I believe this is justified by some of the inaccuracies mentioned above. Please note that your contributions are in the article history, are still available and can be retrieved. I wanted to reach out and first of all, thank you for your input and analysis of my edits to the article. I also would just like to get some of your thoughts before proceeding to make some edits in the next few days. If you'd like to consider them, I'd really appreciate you time and feedback. I realize that some mistakes were make in my phrasing of the application, but if you think that this is generally the right direction to head in with this I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I plan to eliminate the subheading "Why ArcGIS Pro" and just jump right into the most recent ArcGIS Pro update, ArcGIS 3.6, which occurred just a few days ago. Here's what I have thus far:
As of November 2025, ArcGIS Pro released 3.6, which is supposed to, "enhance production, performance, and quality." A few of the updates are as follows;
Calculate Field Toolbar allows users to select columns of data, and customize expressions using software such as "Python, SQL, Arcade, or VBScript."
Symbology enables users to correlate displayed or hidden data points to be reflected on personal maps, which can be grouped by subcategories symbollically, or via polygon layering. Polygon layers may be manually generated by ArcGIS Users, or preset polygon shapes generated by ArcGIS Pro. Symbology may also be organized by color schemes.
Legend Context Menu is a feature that includes global platforms, such as the social network, iNaturalist. ArcGIS Pro users can pull information from social network updates, thus adding outside source content via legend systems to the layers toolbar within personal maps.
Modelbuilder has been redesigned in ArcGIS Pro 3.6, to include a "Suitability Model Comparison Interface, and Gaussian Splat Layers" thus enhancing maps. Users may input map features for purposes in addition to representing data points extracted from shape files. The Suitability Model Comparison Interface compares similar geographic data points using predefined statistics. Comparisons are displayed two dimensionally using heat maps, and represented statistically by formulas, graphs, and analysis via the pop-up comparison statistics pane. Gaussian splat layers are visualized in ArcGIS Pro (created in ArcGIS Reality) in three dimensional layers representing structures, natural life, and other topographical features using geometric figures. Time Properties has been enhanced, as time zones can be found in under "2D Layers" under Map Contents. Quantitative data is represented in the form of "labels, tables, reports, and popups" and can reveal trends in data by identifying and selecting parameters.
Compare Schemas, found under geo processing allows users to compare two schemas within shapefiles. A base schema will be scrubbed against test schemas, and will produce a generated schema file, HTML document. Once the HTML document has been generated, comparisons between the two schemas are listed as well as tabled.
Google 3D Basemap combines standard google basemaps with topographical land features, in addition to government data, infrastructure, manmade features, and natural land features.
