Car tyres for ring beam

Can it be mentioned that to reduce costs even more, perhaps it might be possible to use car tyres as the ring beam. I know Michael Reynolds did this with his "Outlaw septic 2" (http://welikesmall.org/stuff/earthship/Guides/outlaw%20septic.pdf ). I'm suggesting however to only use the tyres to build the top structure, not the bottom; that way one can still use the arborloo method 81.247.157.60 (talk) 08:37, 29 June 2014 (UTC)Reply
