Currently this entry states that he was born on 9 November, however his GM title application says he was born on 15 September, while his IM title application says 11 September, which I suppose was americanly interpreted as 9 November by the unreliable cg.com, which perhaps is the source of the date of birth in this entry. I created this article over a year ago and cannot remember the specifics, but I have never used cg as a source for biographical information. I only use it as an external link in the "External links" section or to link to a game. 11 September is probably the right date (a ChessBase article repeats it, presumably taking from the IM application), but I do not know why there is a discrepancy between the applications. He is referred to as "native of Madurai" "from Madurai" in news articles, though these phrases can have multiple meanings I suppose. Hrodvarsson (talk) 03:05, 22 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
