Regarding the abbreviations of "Kal. Mai."

[edit]

The list of abbreviated "Kal. Mai." are currently referenced to item 23, "Abbreviated... ante diem XVII Kalendas Aprilis/-es... following." Shouldn't it be "Maiae" instead of Aprilis, since these dates marked the counting down to "Kalendae Maiae", the first day of May. -Joshua.yathin.yu (talk) 07:49, 7 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I think you are right (she said, replying six years later). Such an error is likley to have occurred because much of the structure was copied from one month to the next as each article was created. This was an exceedingly complex undertaking that was outside my comfort zone even then, so I fear that several such errors are likely to have occurred, and I hesitate to complete December for this reason. But I will launch this correction with thanks. Cynwolfe (talk) 21:01, 26 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
