Some updating needed
[edit]The BBC appears to have ceased publicly reporting AI ratings, at least for some series, most notably Doctor Who. There is speculation as to whether this is new policy or if the network is attempting to protect some of its programming from the additional negative publicity. Even if they haven't gotten a new policy, then an explanation for the delay in releasing numbers is worth investigating. As an example the most recent season of Doctor Who concluded on May 31, 2025, but as of Sept. 12 the AI score for the episodes has yet to be released, with the season having technically begun with a special episode broadcast Dec. 25, 2024. By contrast up to a few years ago, the AI scores were usually released after a couple of weeks. I believe some other BBC shows have had their AI's announced in a more timely fashion this year, however I do not know any examples so I may be mistaken. 2604:3D09:1F74:1C00:D449:D793:849E:10FE (talk) 00:34, 13 September 2025 (UTC)
