I deleted a sentence claiming that the apoptosome could not be activated by the extrinisc death receptor pathway. this is false, it can be activated by tbid. Statement to be updated

Hello all, I've gone through and made a number of copy edits for spelling/formatting mistakes, but there's one sentence towards the end of the article that I'm not sure how to fix. It states: "Cancer therapies like ionization radiation (a type of chemotherapy) [...]". For one thing, it should be "ionizing radiation" and not "ionization radiation," but I have never heard radiation referred to as "chemotherapy" in the context of cancer. Is this accurate and I'm just misinformed, or should this be rewritten? Lumberjane Lilly (talk) 16:27, 15 May 2025 (UTC)
