Re : "However he (Anton Lesser) continued to win roles on stage, including … Brutus in Deborah Warner’s Julius Caesar in 1975." Oh no he didn't! Deborah Warner was 16 in 1975 and she didn't direct anything (except non-paying fringe stuff, mainly at Edinburgh), till the mid-80s. Laterthanyouthink, I knew both in the late 1970s/early 80s (Warner well, Lesser only indirectly), so it stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb (WP:OR?).Pincrete (talk) 06:42, 24 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
