I have a question about the statement that the adjoint of an antiunitary operator is equal to its inverse, $U^{*}U=UU^{*}=1$. If $<Ux,Uy>=<x,y>^{*}$ (here complex conjugation) and $<Ux,Uy>=<U^{*}Ux,y>$ (definition of the adjoint $U^{*}$), then how can $U^{*}U=1$? Rcreswick (talk) 20:45, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
