Recently watching Downton Abbey, I heard the term ante library, which appears to be a room that acts as an adjunct to a library, housing things like manuscripts, globes, maps and other reference material that probably doesn't include books. Rexxmagnus (talk) 18:49, 19 February 2025 (UTC)Reply
