Stransham

[edit]

There seem to be a few articles about the Stransham family around Wikipedia, but not much in the way of sources:

I haven't been able to find any verification on Google Books or Google Scholar, though there are plenty of Wikipedia mirrors which seem to be repeating the information without any verification. So, are we sure that this information is accurate? --Elonka 01:51, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've found this Navy&Army cover which appears to verify quite a bit of the history of Sir Anthony Blaxland Stransham KCB, though I'm not sure how best to integrate it into the article. 217.169.2.206 (talk) 00:40, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

There's also a number of London Gazette entries about him, including this one (issue 26947 published on the 14 March 1898, Page 119) recording General Sir Anthony Blaxland Stransham, KCB being promoted to Knight Grand Cross (GCB) in the Order of the Bath. 217.169.2.206 (talk) 00:53, 12 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
