Name Meaning

It does not mean priceless. Its meaning is unknown because it comes from the undiscovered, and apparently not Indo-European, Etruscan language, as it correctly states in the main article. - If its meaning is unknown, the article should state so, or did I miss something? At the moment, the space given to the incorrect anthos derivation might lead a a casual reader to take this as the true meaning. Will fix from my desktop when I get a round tuit, esp if I can source the deriv from Etruscan. Merging of Articles
[edit]In the English Wikipedia there are many articles on variants of the name Antonius. It would make sense to merge them into a single article that lists and explains the various name variants.
When a variant of the name is searched for, it should redirect to the main article. Incorrect or imprecisely worded information should be corrected and presented in the main article without the contradictions that can currently be found in the articles concerned.
Even the English and Greek versions of the article Antonios disagree about the origin of the name, with the Greek version reflecting current scholarship more accurately. As early as 1897, George Davis Chase, in The Origins of Roman Praenomina[1], referred to Wilhelm Deecke’s Etruskische Forschungen, Drittes Heft: Die etruskischen Vornamen[2] to show that the origin is likely Etruscan.
