Requested move 5 June 2026

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: not moved. Weak consensus that "line" in these titles are uppercased words of the stations proper names, which makes the current titles the style recommended by WP:NCCAP. – Per Talk:Jungang_line/Archive_1#Requested_move_18_February_2018 (and the subsequent move review), these would have to follow the same naming pattern. 1234qwer1234qwer4 16:43, 5 June 2026 (UTC)  Relisting. 1isall (talk | contribs) 18:51, 12 June 2026 (UTC)Reply

I'm ok with letting this happen for consistency for now, but imo "line" is pretty clearly part of the name for these and is basically universally capitalized (I'm Korean). I've never really seen them not capitalized. A lot of the arguments in that linked discussion seem to be influenced by a desire to make consistent with other countries, and not having looked into this topic specifically grapesurgeon (talk) 09:46, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
I don't have an opinion on which variant should be used. I suppose you could try to overturn the other move too; I just saw it had already survived one move review. 1234qwer1234qwer4 22:22, 8 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
