- Regarding the foreign language versions, there happen to exist even three Italian versions, one with Sordi-Zambuto giving their voices to Hardy-Laurel, another with Croccolo-Fiorentini and a third, for the coloured version, featuring Ariani-Garinei. The first doubling was made with the aim of creating a long running film made of four of Laurel and Hardy shorts. Although this project was dropped, the short was released on its own in the cinemas with its Italian doubling. The Croccolo-Fiorentini version was made for the television airing and was the common version through which it was known in Italy, before the airing of the coloured version in the '70s.
