Naming

[edit]

Nan is a standard nickname for Anna/Anne, so CNNRC applies and we should not have it in quotes. On the other hand if Nan Hudson was her common name, than that should be the article name. However we should follow standard source references, if they normally call her Anna Hope Hudson than we should follow that.John Pack Lambert (talk) 12:47, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hi Johnpacklambert, It looks like there are some places that call her Nan Hudson, like Musée d'Orsay and Tate, but it looks like it's common for "Nan Hudson" to be stated as an aka / alternative version of her name like "Anna Hope 'Nan' Hudson" or "Anna Hope (Nan) Hudson".–CaroleHenson (talk) 17:06, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
