See this message for Anisus septemgyratus explanations. --Snek01 (talk) 11:19, 14 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Here is the essential part of the message: "According to Falkner (from Gloer, 2002) Anisus septemgyratus Rossmässler, 1835 is a junior synonym of Anisus leucostoma Miller, 1813, because the animals from the type locality are identical with Anisus leucostoma. However, most authors misidentified this species and applied the name to animals which are in reality Anisus calculiformis. So Anisus septemgyratus auct. (not Rossmässler) is synonymous to Anisus calculiformis. Perhaps I should add a footnote to Anisus leucostoma to explain this complicated matter. Greetings -- Engeser 15:02, 11. Mai 2009 (CEST)"

Hope this is helpful here. Invertzoo (talk) 22:54, 4 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
