Angus King was term-limited in 2003, which is why he could not run for governor of maine again at that time. 50.49.22.41 (talk) 11:56, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply

If you are referring to the lead about his "leaving office" in 2003, the reason for his leaving office is not relevant to this sentence. Maybe if he had expressed a desire to run for a third term(if not for being prevented from doing so), but I don't think he ever did.
