Merge Proposal

[edit]

I think the article Angoche District should be merged in the Angoche article.

  • Although the scope of this article isn't the same as Angoche District, both their contents are practically the same (they have branched in 2007, then fellow Wikipedian User:XOXO.MZ has written an extensive History section for Angoche District (sadly unsourced) before copying it back here in early September 2021, then the pages continued to diverge)
  • It is additionnally hard to link Angoche District from Angoche, as the latter treats the former as itself.
    • The merged page would then have a unified set of stronger references, and possibly wear a "detailed article" section header towards Angoche Sultanate.

Additionnally, Angoche Island also bears copy-pasted history sections from the Arab explorers section of this article which I don't know how to feel about. Which is why I suggest the merging of these pages (or atleast severe restructuration of the 4 articles to take each other into account more, which I amn't courageous enough to undertake yet...)
