Treatable
[edit]Many duck owners say this is definitely curable if treated correctly while the wing is still developing. For example [1] and [2]. It is incurable in an adult bird that was never treated. It can be problematic in wild animals that need flight for survival, but other than being malformed, the animal is otherwise considered healthy. -Legaia (talk) 19:10, 3 July 2015 (UTC)

Christopher Perrins source?
[edit]Hi all,
In the linked source for "some experts and academics deny the connection" there is a quote purportedly from Prof. Christopher Perrins on feeding cygnets bread, however, when I tried to look into it, all I could find were articles repeating this quote without any indication of where and when it was actually said.
Would anyone else be able to help find a more direct source?
