On Angel Guardian being "Israeli"

Please do not treat it as a solid fact. The Sparkle profile for her says she's 25, but she is now 26. Her more recent interview with Fair Beauty describes her as Palestinian, and Guardian herself has been vocal about identifying as Palestinian and supporting Palestine in the conflict. It is likely that her Palestinian parent was born in territory that is legally considered Israel now, and her network decided to market her as Israeli. However, it is also likely that her parent is in fact of Palestinian Arab ethnicity. Please exercise caution regarding this matter.

@Bloomagiliw: I acknowledge your desire to include this content or material in the article. According to this guideline WP:BLPSPS. "Never use self-published sources—including but not limited to books, zines, websites, blogs, podcasts, and social network posts—as sources of material about a living person unless written or published by the person themself. "Never" means in any circumstances. And according to this guideline WP:BLOGS, "Never use self-published sources as third-party sources about living people, even if the author is an expert, well-known professional researcher, or writer". I let someone join in the discussion to share their thoughts on using self-published platforms as sources for this BLP article. Yes, I got that. I'm just putting it on the Talk page so people can see it nonetheless and be aware, because I know there was one editor who kept trying to say AG is of Israeli descent, and it seems her network also kept trying to misidentify her ethnic heritage before. I'll wait for more reliable sources to report on AG's official identification as a half-Palestinian Filipino. I'm expecting some more soon because she has a lead role in the Encantadia spin-off, which is so far getting a lot of buzz and promo. Bloomagiliw (talk) 17:08, 3 June 2025 (UTC)
