Concerns over close connection template

[edit]

After seeing this flagged with a close connection template, I wanted to state that I have no conflict of interest when it comes to the subject. I don't personally know the subject or have any connection to him. I first learned about the subject when I watched his film "The Bestowal" at a film festival and started doing research on his career and his other projects. I made sure to write a balanced article, for example writing about a negative review about his most recent film "The Seductress from Hell". Everything stated is also backed up by all the references and I believe the current template on it is incorrect. Thank you. Jeffreygerald5550 (talk) 21:28, 28 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

I added the COI template because your user account added several images of the subject and you only edit pages related to the subject. I added the promo template because there is WP:TOOMUCH detail (streaming info, rotten tomatoes scores) for a WP:BLP when most of the subject's films have their own page. –Filmforme (talk) 19:14, 23 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
In terms of the COI template, it had one last year but was removed by another user. In terms of the promo template, I understand and would welcome edits to improve the article. Jeffreygerald5550 (talk) 00:34, 24 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
