Proposed removal — inaccurate content (BLP)

[edit]

The sentence attributed to a Canberra Times review contains factual errors that misrepresent Andrew Duffield and should be removed under Wikipedia's Biographies of Living Persons policy.

  • Andrew Duffield has no composition registered with APRA titled "Beyond Rap." The song title in the review appears to be incorrect.
  • The phrase "He said how unhappy he is, that happiness is a bore" is not Duffield's lyric or sentiment. These are lyrics written and sung by Mark Ferrie from the song Unhappy (1981). Duffield wrote the music to the song but did not perform it. Ferrie had left the band by 1982, prior to this review.
  • The passage, as written, falsely implies these were Duffield's views or words.
  • The reference to Australian rock bands Real Life and Pseudo Echo, if the comment was made at all, was not intended as a disparaging remark or critique of those bands.

Given these inaccuracies, this sentence does not meet Wikipedia's verifiability standards and presents a misleading picture of a living person. I am requesting its removal.```` THFingers (talk) 14:13, 1 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
