I found it interesting that Amphionides reynaudii was initially thought to belong to the order Amphionidacea because of its morphological features, but this was later disproven through molecular analysis. Amphionides reynaudii is now actually recognized as a member of the caridean family Panadalidae. This shows how organisms can share morphological traits without being closely related to each other genetically. However, the article could have gone into more detail about what techniques they used for gathering and analyzing their genetic data. What specific sequencing or phylogenetic techniques were used? Also this article could have included information on the strength of the phylogenetic signal which could have helped the readers get a better understanding of why there was a taxonomic shift.
