can anyone explain in laymans terms the relationship between volts and amps?

I have a low voltage supply that seems to be pulling a lot of amps......

AMP (Amplified Music Products)

[edit]

I just added this entry under the Music section. However, I do not have an account and hence I can't add the article per se. Perhaps someone would be kind to do this, and I can add a brief article. Here's a useful reference: Article about AMP in Premier Guitar — Preceding unsigned comment added by 212.152.13.29 (talk) 17:30, 12 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Merge AMP/Amp

[edit]
  • Both articles include similar disambig, I suggest we just collect it all into one common abbreviation disambig. CraigF 03:10, 20 April 2006 (UTC)Reply
  • Merge It is really pretty pointless to have two disambiguation pages for the same combination of three letters. It just confuses everyone who didn't think of typing his search subject case-sensitive. We can always differentiate acronyms and proper words on that page after all. --TheOtherStephan 20:35, 20 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Amp'd mobile

[edit]

Should we also provide a link to Amp'd_Mobile Mathiastck 20:37, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Not really because disambiguation pages are supposed to be for links to subjects that are referred to by that name, not just subjects that have that word in the name. Unless people call Amp'd Mobiles "Amps" in which case it would be OK. Recury 22:14, 1 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Amphetamine

[edit]

Do you think Amphetamine is appropriate to list under the disambiguation for Amp? I believe this is in fact a street name. C6541 (talk) 03:30, 23 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Audio MPEG Player

[edit]

An editor is trying to add Audio MPEG Player against WP:DAB, MOS:DAB and WP:EL. Please discuss here and stop edit warring. --Muhandes (talk) 19:43, 20 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
