It must be OK to publish an article on fictional characters, as there are other Wiki articles about other literary people who did not exist. (e.g. Huck Finn)

Hi, I am using the maintenance category Harold B. Lee Library-related Book of Mormon articles to track pages that my team has worked on, specifically for this category, pages related to the Book of Mormon. The relation to the library is that library employees have used library resources to edit the page. This is convenient not just for me when reporting on my work, but also for interested outsiders who may want to check our work. It was actually something that other non-LDS editors requested that I create. At the time, I argued that compelling me to create such a category was not within Wikipedia policy. However, now I see that it is useful to multiple people for multiple reasons, I have voluntarily decided to create tracking categories. This is an allowed use of maintenance categories, and other editing projects use maintenance categories to track their work. Rachel Helps (BYU) (talk) 16:46, 5 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
