It would be interesting to hear what happened to Amflora - not so much in regards to Amflora, per se, but for related "downstream" products or
similar, since it is often useful to know what happened before that. See also "golden rice" for related discussions. Thus, such articles
may be useful to know for visitors in general (I really mean this in general; I don't particularly care about individual patent grants,
be it amflora, golden rice, or whatever, but more about the larger picture, yes/no and so forth, and how this then impacts other products
