Originally, the infobox only had Spanish and Portuguese translations of "Amazon rainforest." Now, we've added Dutch, as that is spoken in the Surinamese Amazon. Map of the Amazon Rainforest

The map included in this article shows the Amazon Basin and Biome, but no map delineating the actual Amazon rainforest. Is there a reason one isn’t included? 174.91.149.60 (talk) 11:45, 8 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

The current map seems to treat the Amazon rainforest as synonymous with the Amazon biome, but the lead implies that it is only a part of the Amazon basin. I'm always a bit surprised the Guianas treated as part of Amazonia but this seems common. Srnec (talk) 19:38, 4 January 2026 (UTC)Reply
