[edit]This conflates heavily the layoffs/details about Chris Smalls to Amazon Labor Union itself. The two are related but it feels to be WP:UNDUE weight. ~ 🦝 Shushugah (he/him • talk) 18:51, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
Needs work
[edit]Derrick Palmer, Connor Spence, Madeline Wesley, and Karen Ponce have all been covered and are a part of the ALU. It didn't make a lot of sense to include them previously, since the ALU did not have its own page, but now that it does, this article should more carefully cover contributions beyond Smalls.
Additionally, the history is missing The Congress of Essential Workers, which is covered in Smalls' article.
The founding section also reads like the ALU is the JFK8 bargaining union, which it's not, and doesn't mention the second bargaining union backed by the ALU. Much of this information can be found in Chris Smalls. SquareInARoundHole (talk) 18:41, 7 April 2022 (UTC)
@Namiba, regarding your recent edit, this does not belong in the History of Staten Island category as it's about a labor union, rather than a historical event or a history organization (which is what the category is supposed to be for). I have changed this to Category:Organizations based in Staten Island. – Epicgenius (talk) 16:34, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
- This is fine with me.--User:Namiba 16:53, 3 February 2026 (UTC)
