I understand the initial objection, since my original text didn't include the context that makes this company significant. I've clarified (while trying to be concise) that Amalgamated has frequently been cited as a leader or prominent example of an emerging new model of advertising agency. I've referenced a cover story from New York Magazine that illustrates how Amalgamated is often used, along with Droga5 and Anomaly, to exemplify newer agencies that are making a distinct break from the ad industry's previously typical structure and methodology. Just as significant, some of the work produced using this new model has caused controversy and produced imitations and trends, and I've detailed some examples here with references.
