I propose to merge Aluminum joining into Aluminum. I think that the content in the Aluminum joining article can easily be explained in the context of Aluminum and that Aluminum joining is not that easy to find. @Johnson.6159: Message text. 41.66.162.69 (talk) 10:13, 10 July 2020 (UTC)

Could we not? There is most certainly no room in aluminium to host this much text, and most of it will be lost. Is there any reason this article can't exist on its own?--R8R (talk) 14:04, 14 July 2020 (UTC)

It is perhaps worth mentioning that this article is an orphan. That doesn't say much for its notability under this title. Aluminum is pretty big though. Is there perhaps a better target page? Aluminum alloy? After all, it is the opening two words of the article, and is (a little) smaller. Lithopsian (talk) 20:25, 14 July 2020 (UTC)

Would it not be easier to simply make more links then? Say, in see also sections of both aluminium and aluminium alloy for starters. There are already articles called compounds of aluminium, aluminium alloy, and history of aluminium (the latter is even an FA!), so I don't see why there can't be one named aluminum joining.--R8R (talk) 16:04, 19 July 2020 (UTC)
