Wrong impression?
[edit]Hi, interesting article, but you've said 4 times that they are "a bold, lawless set of men, much given to violent crime". Once would be enough, then you could reference the others using footnotes like you did here: "may forget the petty quarrels of their valley.[2]" Otherwise we go away thinking that's the most important thing to know about them!
