The 1883 Mariettian yearbook states that the second chapter was established at Delaware College. This would mean the fraternity had four chapters, and solves the date conflict for Beta that exists between Baird's and the Alamanac (The only other solution I can see is removing and reinstating the charter). However, it is also possible that the yearbook is referring to Ohio Wesleyan as "Delaware College" since it is located in Delaware, Ohio. So what is more likely: that the second charter was in Newark, Delaware at what became the University of Delaware OR was at Ohio Wesleyan in Delaware, Ohio? Help is needed to scan yearbooks for a solution. In the meantime, I am going with two chapters named Beta. Rublamb (talk) 20:42, 12 September 2025 (UTC)Reply
