Songwriter

[edit]

The songwriter Jennifer Kimball is linked to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jennifer_Kimball, but is this the same person? This song came out in 1983, but the Jennifer Kimball linked graduated from college in 1986. She wasn't very active before then either.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.233.71.137 (talk) 14:46, 23 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

I agree that it's unlikely to be the same Jennifer Kimball, so I've removed the link. —C.Fred (talk) 17:00, 23 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

Synopsis of Lyrics

[edit]

"The lyrics tells of a woman who *already* overcame the pain, misery, and shattered dreams her former lover gave to her, which suggests the title." This is not correct, because the lyrics is about a woman who *almost* overcame the pain. This is mentioned in the title and many places in the lyrics. I changed the wording from *already* to *almost*.

In fact, the whole song is about the difficult of getting over a prior relationship. Considering she still cares about his current activities, "almost over you" could simply be wishful thinking.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.233.71.137 (talk) 15:20, 23 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
