Replace "Right wing" with "Conservative"

[edit]

"Right wing" is pejorative. "Conservative" is not pejorative. Change "Allister Georges Freund Heath OBE (born 1977), is a right wing French-British business journalist, author and commentator." to "Allister Georges Freund Heath OBE (born 1977), is a conservative French-British business journalist, author and commentator." I don't think it's meaningful at all to say what he is - it's an assumption about his politics. You can write for a left or right oriented newspaper without agreeing with it entirely. And, to be honest, this left-wing/right-wing thing is meaningless today. Other journalists just say they're a journalist and who they write for and leave the reader to make up their own mind - that is the right approach. So delete 'right wing' from the lead. just say he's a French-British business journalist, author and commentator - there's enough adjectives in there already. ~2025-35155-98 (talk) 20:32, 20 November 2025 (UTC)Reply
