Coordinate error

The following coordinate fixes are needed for Allison Mo. The long-ago town was actually located one mile north of the current position on Google Earth Map.

App. coordinates are 40 32 46 N 94 42 23 W

Interesting, google maps gets its coords from GNIS I believe, and GNIS matches the current coords on wiki (see here). Historic plat maps 1, 2, 3 seem to agree with the claim that Allison really is a mile further north. The oldest USGS maps show nothing. Postal records corroborate northerly location and match plat map see here. I think you are right that the point will be moved, I elect to set approximate coords per present day road intersection that matches the PLSS of the area.
