Alliance#International opinion

Alliance#International opinion seems highly irrelevant to the general topic of alliances. It's dedicated entirely a single 2017 public opinion poll about individuals' "Most preferred ally in case of military threat".--Pharos (talk) 22:51, 16 November 2020 (UTC)

Improvements

This page needs a lot of improvement. I will work on it, but help would be really appreciated.

1. It is unclear how it differs (in its current form) at all from military alliance.
2. It contained major uncited/ incorrectly cited, false information which I have now removed but still needs replacing. I have kept as much of the original as I could.
3. It is very short and has a narrow historical and geographical focus on 20th Century Europe (and then mentions BRICS).

I would be grateful if anyone (perhaps with more experience) had any thoughts on how best to fix this, seeing as its a relatively important article. Should it be merged with military alliance?
