Budget failed verficiation
[edit]The budget figure of $13.8 million is attributed to "DonBluth.com Ask Us" but no link was provided. Using the Wayback Machine from the Internet Archive I was able to find a copy of the Ask Us page on DonBluth.com. I have checked the page but the number 13.8 does not appear anywhere. The number 13 appears six times but none of them are in reference to the budget of this film. I searched through the page for more mentions of "All Dogs", I searched the page for "million" (and even the word "thirteen") and there is a general answer about budgets saying "We must get feature budgets down below $20 million" but I am not seeing the figure that was claimed anywhere in that article.
First please mark the current figure in the infobox as {{Failed verification}}. I do not think the budget figure should be removed, it is in the right ballpark and could be correct, but we are simply unable to properly WP:VERIFY it at the moment. Second, if anyone can please provide an alternative budget source that would be great. (Box Office Mojo and The Numbers.com do not list a budget figure for this film.) -- 109.78.199.198 (talk) 18:04, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks, removed as couldn't find a source either. Found mention of the 13.8 from unreliable sources only so could've come from one of them Indagate (talk) 18:26, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
- I did not think the budget figure should have been removed. If you found other sources, even unreliable ones, it might have been helpful to say what they were. Anyway I searched myself and found that the AFI says the budget was $13 million That should be enough to restore the budget. -- 109.78.199.198 (talk) 19:18, 23 April 2022 (UTC)
- They were just Reddit and IMDb, not arguably reliable. That looks alright thanks, added it. Recommend you make an account so can edit articles like this Indagate (talk) 19:27, 23 April 2022 (UTC)

One thing to say.
Gordon Freeman dies in the sequel, I know, I made it happen.
Not done for now:
- Please provide reliable sources for your claim.
- Format specifically, such as "change X to Y" or "add X after Y".

Removal/Edit of YachtSee's addition to the Production section of the internet rumor about Burt Reynolds
[edit]On September 2 2025 YachtSee added to the production section of the article. A few things wrong here. This is not a long standing rumor and first appeared on Tiktok in early June of 2024 by a creator called ghostfacepanda333 and went viral with varying changes by other creators to the original claim. The source used here is ScreenRant which then links to other sites like Fandomwire which talk about "Various sources" to support the claim without naming any. There is no mention of any audio director being interviewed or even mentioned on any of these sites.
The other linked article on this section is from the fact checking site snopes and calls this claim unfounded. It even interviews the original creator of the first tiktok video on the subject and they admit they have no way to prove anything they stated.
I believe this section should be removed due to many errors and lacking factual evidence or at least heavily edited to better describe this unverified claim.--JmanTheHitMan (talk) 20:54, 5 October 2025 (UTC)
- I think it might be better if this is reworded. The reason why it's stated that way was because I was influenced by the wording from The Master of Disguise where in the production section it has another famous rumor where the specific scene with the turtle club was filmed while the September 11th attacks were happening. Of course this one was started on IMDb in the late 2000s and was later debunked. I think that since this rumor is okay for The Master of Disguise, this rumor is okay for All Dogs Go to Heaven. Perhaps instead of deleting the section, it could be reworded. YachtSee (talk) 22:51, 10 January 2026 (UTC)
- Gotcha. Okay perhaps it can be reworded in a way that mentions the rumor itself but also the lacking credibility of the claims similarly how that section does so when it got disproven. Also I'll admit it does seem this rumor has been around for a bit (some old youtube comments sections) but some things seemed to have been added recently when it went viral in 2024 but the first part of that section is probably fine to have as your wrote it. You stated that an audio engineer was the one who confirmed this but none of the linked sources mention that and it also doesn't get mentioned when talked about just when looking into it. The 63 takes should probably omitted since the number changes everywhere its mentioned from 20-80 and seems to be a new addition to the rumor like the part of him holding her photo.
- Maybe something like this
- There has been a long standing rumor that while recording the ending dialogue, Burt Reynolds had trouble recording the lines without tearing up. Judith Barsi finished recording her lines before her death and Reynolds had yet to record his lines. There is no credible source for these rumors with a seemingly unknown origin and the fact checking site Snopes labels them unfounded .
- What do you think? It streamlines it a bit but I think that's all the necessary info on subject. JmanTheHitMan (talk) 21:33, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- I think that this works, we can take the section I made, put it in, then reword it if that works. YachtSee (talk) 21:39, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
- yes that sounds good to me JmanTheHitMan (talk) 22:44, 11 January 2026 (UTC)
