Actually, I think the British Imperial lifeline article should be merged here (keeping this title), not the other way around. "British Imperial lifeline" is an awkward title (and one I've not often encountered in my studies of the British Empire, except as an abstract concept) whilst All-Red Route was (is?) a well-known term encompassing the same thing.
